Former WWE Star Teases AEW Return

Former WWE Star Teases AEW Return WWE/AEW

Ahead of tonight’s AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has teased his return to All Elite Wrestling.

In August 2023, former WWE star Rob Van Dam made his debut in All Elite Wrestling to briefly feud with Jack Perry.

Since then, Van Dam has made a few more appearances for the promotion. He last wrestled on the April 20 episode of AEW Rampage.

Many fans have been wondering and speculating about potential names who could show up on tonight’s AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.

Speaking on the 1 Of A Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam stated he’s not booked for tonight’s show, but it’s possible he could pop in to say hello. He said:

“I guess Sunday, and I just found that out and it wasn’t from them, someone was asking if I’m booked on it. Which I am not. I may or may not pop in to say hi.”

“One thing that’s obvious to me that stands out as being interesting is that I have interest in popping in there. There might be several guys that I’d like to say hi to besides Tony [Khan].”

“A lot of the wrestlers that I’ve known for a long time and stuff. When WWE’s in town, I don’t get that feeling. If someone says do you want to pop in there, you know I don’t really know who I would say hi to.”

“Is Booker T there? It’s harder to think of someone that I would connect with that I would be motivated by enough to actually want to get in the car and drive over there and see them just because they’re 20-30 minutes away or whatever.”

It remains to be seen if fans will see Rob Van Dam on tonight’s AEW Double Or Nothing event at the time of this writing.
