Shayna Baszler has opened up about her and Ronda Rousey’s ‘full circle moment’ ahead of WrestleMania 39.
At this weekend’s event, Baszler and Rousey will compete in the WrestleMania 39 Showcase four-way tag match.
The two MMA Horsewomen will face off against the teams of Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya & Shotzi and Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Baszler explained why this match, which will emanate from California’s SoFi Stadium, is so important to her:
“Ronda and I have been friends for a very long time. You know, I moved out to LA to join Ronda’s team to train and live with Ronda.
“So its pretty cool that we’re in LA, the pinnacle of our teamness. It’s like a full circle moment.”
Ronda Rousey recently confirmed that has been dealing with an arm injury ahead of the Show of Shows.
Rousey last wrestled at a February 26 house show, with her most recent TV bout taking place on the February 17 edition of SmackDown.
