WWE has now shared a fan-favourite match that you can now watch for full, from last year’s Clash at the Castle premium live event.

At the September 2022 show, Sheamus challenged for GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship.

While many predicted that Sheamus would win the one WWE title he’s never held, the Irish star ultimately came up short following almost 20 minutes of back and forth action.

The brutal bout was praised by many, including the Wrestling Observer, who awarded the match a five-star rating.

This contest also marked the starting point of an intense rivalry, with Sheamus and GUNTHER meeting in several other ‘bangers’.

The duo had their second singles match on the October 7 edition of SmackDown, with GUNTHER once again retaining his gold, this time under more questionable circumstances.

Sheamus and Drew McIntyre challenged for GUNTHER’s gold at WrestleMania 39 in a three-way bout, with the Ring General walking away with his title.

We may have to wait a while for another GUNTHER/Sheamus singles bout, with GUNTHER moving to Raw and Sheamus remaining on SmackDown during the 2023 WWE Draft.

GUNTHER is slated to make his WWE Raw return on the May 15 show.
