Former WWE Star Teases UFC Move After 13 Second Knockout Win WWE/UFC

A former WWE star and Olympic athlete has teased a potential move to UFC after making his shock boxing debut.

Dirty Boxing 4 took place on October 30, with Gable Steveson making his debut in the main event.

Facing Billy Swanson in Nashville, Tennessee, fans witnessed Steveson end the match with a victory in just 13 seconds.

Footage from the match was shared on social media (see below), with Steveson going on to discuss his future plans post-match.

Speaking after his debut in Dirty Boxing, Steveson set his sights on a potential UFC move, noting that the VP of Talent Relations, Mick Maynard, was in attendance, saying:

“I think a special guest was here to come watch me, but I’m not sure where he is.

“His name is Mick Maynard with UFC… and he’s right there.

“Mick, I mean, you’ve seen a little bit, I’d love to show a lot more, and hopefully you believe in me and I appreciate you.”

Steveson was one of a number of WWE stars to be released in May of last year, with it subsequently being reported that it wasn’t a surprise to some backstage.

The Olympic athlete signed a WWE NIL deal in September 2021, being assigned to Raw in the draft of that year, although he wouldn’t make his first appearance until the following April at WrestleMania 38.

His in-ring debut took place at NXT The Great American Bash in July 2023, with Steveson performing on the brand’s house shows throughout that year.

Gable Steveson competed in a number of SmackDown dark matches during the following year, although he didn’t make a televised in-ring debut on the brand.
