Former WWE Wrestler Reveals Goal To Become General Manager

A former WWE wrestler has revealed that it has been a long-time dream to become an on-screen general manager.

Lana (CJ Perry) signed a Legends deal with WWE in April 2025, when her husband Rusev returned to the company as an active competitor.

Speaking with Ring The Belle, Lana revealed that there’s one wrestling role she has been after for a while.

When asked about her goals in wrestling, Lana said:

“My dream is to be a GM. In my journal that I’ve written – probably for 12 years now, 13 years – ‘I want to be general manager.’

“It’s crazy, I would say pretty much everything from my journal of 12 years that I wrote down has come true, except for me becoming GM, and me helping Rusev become the WWE Champion.

Also during this interview, Lana revealed a nixed pitch for her to retire a WWE Hall of Famer.

Lana hasn’t wrestled since the May 31, 2021 edition of Raw, when she teamed with Naomi in a losing effort against Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.

Lana recently announced her return to wrestling, sharing an update on the possibility of her having another match.
