WWE
A former WWE star has teased officially returning to the company to be the official NXT general manager, following recent appearances.
With Ava exiting the company in January, Robert Stone has been serving as the interim NXT general manager since February.
With Shayna Baszler’s recent cameo appearance for the company, the former NXT Women’s Champion has responded to as call for her to return permanently.
Re-sharing a tweet calling for her to officially join NXT again, Baszler wrote:
Maybe I SHOULD put in my resume for GM……
This isn’t the first time Baszler has hinted that she could become NXT GM, with the Queen of Spades previously pitching herself as a replacement for Ava ahead of Robert Stone being announced as the interim authority figure.
While Shayna Baszler officially exited WWE in July 2025, she has maintained a good relationship with WWE, leading to her working backstage as a coach and appearing on NXT, both of which she has done on several occasions.
Her most recent NXT TV appearance came on the March 3 episode, featured in a video of Kelani Jordan training for her Underground match at Vengeance Day.
Interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone recently revealed how late he was informed he’d be taking on this role, click here to read more.
