Last week the wrestling world was shocked by the tragic passing of Adrian ‘Lionheart’ McCallum. The 36-year-old was a key feature of the British independent scene and was the reigning ICW Champion at the time of his sudden death.

On Friday night, the British wrestling scene will come together to celebrate Lionheart’s life and career. PCW is hosting the “A Night for Lionheart” show, where all profits made will be given to Lionheart’s parents.
The show is bound to be emotional, and is also scheduled to feature ‘The Lionheart Memorial Trophy Tournament”.

PCW has confirmed that WWE has granted permission for “a number of talent” to work this week’s memorial show. Ligero has already taken to social media to reveal that he will be returning to the promotion for the special event.
Other NXT UK stars who would have worked closely with Lionheart such as Joe Coffey, Dave Mastiff and Noam Dar are expected to be announced in the coming days.

WWE is often given a lot of slack for their actions, but you cannot deny this is a class move from Vince McMahon’s company.
