WWE Star Discusses Debuting New Finisher WWE

A WWE star has discussed debuting his new finishing move, after using his new finisher in a match on a recent show.

With the Crown Jewel WWE Premium Live Event taking place in Australia, matches for Main Event were also taped in Perth ahead of Raw on October 13.

Grayson Waller was in action for a Main Event match against Penta and broke out a new finish, a flipping avalanche overdrive from the middle rope.

You can view a video of Waller hitting this move below.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Grayson gave some additional insight into the move.

Stating that he will name the move after he uses it on Raw, he explained:

“I’d seen someone do it standing in the middle of the ring. Now, there are some big boys in WWE, I don’t think I can do that to everyone.

“I was like, ‘What if I do it off the second (rope)?’ There are some freaks at NXT who like trying wild stuff, so I went down and tried some stuff out.

“I did it two years ago against (Carmelo Hayes), it’s one of those ones, ‘save it for a special occasion,’ that’s what they always say.

“Sometimes special occasions don’t turn up, so I think Australia was the perfect place to do it.

“I actually wanted to use it on Penta, I needed a reversal to the Canadian Destroyer, so I was like, maybe I come up with an Australian Destroyer – not that that’s the name, but I was like, I need something flippy. It’s disrespectful to make someone flip and land on their head, so I did it to his brother instead.

“Once I hit it on Raw, then I’ll give it a name.”

Waller had previously teased a move called the Australian Destroyer, saying that move would be saved “for a very special time”, with Penta as the target.
