WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER showed love to the new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr.
At NJPW King of Pro Wrestling, Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
With his win, Sabre Jr. has become the second British wrestler to win the top prize in New Japan Pro Wrestling after Will Ospreay in 2021.
Following the victory, GUNTHER took to social media to show some love to the new champion. With applause emojis, he simply wrote:
ZSJ
The two men were rivals on the UK independent scene during GUNTHER’s time prior to signing with WWE in 2019.
WrestleTalk would like to congratulate Zack Sabre Jr. on his title win.
