WWE’s GUNTHER Reacts To Imperium Implosion

GUNTHER has reacted to the implosion in Imperium after the events of the April 22, 2024, episode of WWE Raw.

Having lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40, GUNTHER officially entered himself into the 2024 King of the Ring.

Xavier Woods would also make his intentions for the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring taking place on May 25 in Saudi Arabia.

The Ring General wasn’t particularly happy with the interruption, sending Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci to face the New Day.

Imperium would lose the match against Woods and Kofi Kingston, leading to a furious GUNTHER and a decision made by Kaiser.

As previously reported, Giovanni Vinci would be subject to an attack from his former Imperium teammate, writing him off television.

The Austrian has now shared a clip of the attack by Kaiser on Vinci, declaring:

“Out with the weak link.”

With the loss to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40, Gunther’s reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion came to an end after a staggering and record-breaking 666 days.

GUNTHER had the longest singular reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion and had also achieved a similar feat in NXT UK with 870 days as the now-defunct brand’s champion.
