GUNTHER’s Next Opponent For World Heavyweight Championship Confirmed On WWE Raw

In the main event of tonight’s WWE Raw, there was a four-way match to determine who would be next to challenge GUNTHER.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER addressed his potential opponents ahead of the match which featured Seth Rollins taking on Sheamus, Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest.

However, there would be a massive interference as Big Bronson Reed appeared, taking out Sheamus and Damian Priest on his way to get to Seth Rollins.

Clearing off the announcer’s table, he brawled with Sheamus and Priest as it was clarified that there were no disqualifications.

Reed would give a Death Valley Driver to both Priest and Sheamus before climbing to the top rope to drop a Tsunami first on Priest, then one on Sheamus from another ring post.

Bronson Reed would then get Seth Rollins on top of the commentary table and deliver another Tsunami, sending Rollins through the table.

Meanwhile, Dirty Dominik Mysterio crouched at ringside watching on at the melee and wisely chose to strike.

Dirty Dom tried to capture a pinfall victory over Sheamus but it was interrupted by Damian Priest. Mysterio hit a 619 on Priest, but in the end, Priest was able to reverse fortunes.

Capturing Dominik and dropping him with a massive Chokeslam, Damian Priest picked up the pinfall victory over Dominik Mysterio.

Damian Priest is now the number one contender to GUNTHER’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Priest lost the title to GUNTHER at WWE SummerSlam 2024 with GUNTHER subsequently refusing to face him for a rematch.

The date for their next match has yet to be confirmed.

Earlier on Raw, IYO SKY won a battle royal to become the new #1 contender for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
