WWE Hacker Delivers Cryptic Message During SmackDown

During tonight’s WWE SmackDown, the hacker figure posted a new message during the show. First, he came on the screen and said we’re watching.

He then showed clips from a previous SmackDown episode.

He says the thing about anger is that you always hear it before you see it. The figure then plays a recording of what sounds like a woman’s voice say:

Payback is coming and it’s coming real soon.

The message had the date 4/17/20 and time of 11:35 pm eastern. Nothing overly note-worthy happened on the 4/17 edition of SmackDown.

Sasha Banks lost to Tamina. Bayley tried to district Tamina and help Banks.

Big E won the tag titles in a Singles match. Sheamus defeated a jobber. Cesaro and Bryan had a great match.

Of those events, the one that would seem to have the most likelihood of resulting in an angle would be Banks and Bayley imploding. Of course that could happen during the championship match on Sunday night.

Otherwise it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Rumors of this being a group of individuals consisting of Chad Gable and Mustafa Ali seem to be most likely.

There was also some hype on WWE Backstage that seems to imply it could be CM Punk. That is very unlikely.
