Following this past Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event, a brawl broke with heels Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano & Adam Cole on one side and Aleister Black, Ricochet & Velveteen Dream on the other.
It was later announced that a six-man tag between the two trios would take place on the revival of WWE Halftime Heat during (funnily enough) half time at this Sunday’s Super Bowl.
During the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show, at which the event was announced, it was also revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels would be a part of the commentary team. Jeremy Borash has now announced via his Twitter account that 205 Live & NXT UK commentator Vic Joseph will also be joining the legendary ‘Heartbreak Kid’ behind the desk/table.

WWE Halftime Heat will take place this Sunday, February 3, when the NFL puts on their own half time show. It will air on the WWE Network as well as all social media platforms and will celebrate 20 years since the inaugural event back in 1999 during Super Bowl XXXIII where The Rock took on Mankind in an empty arena match.
