An update to plans for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023 have been revealed with the ceremony fast approaching.
It was recently revealed that the Hall of Fame ceremony would take place after WWE SmackDown on March 31 at the Crypto.com Center.
With no inductees or announcements being made through WWE channels, the only thing we knew was that it was happening.
WrestleVote has now posted an update on plans with the event itself a mere three weeks away.
Writing on Twitter, WrestleVotes states:
“The plan as of Monday was to begin announcing this years Hall of Fame induction class today.
“The annual HOF ceremony is 3 weeks from tonight in Los Angeles following SmackDown.”
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently revealed that he’s been asked to induct someone into the Class of 2023.
He wouldn’t reveal who had asked him, though said it was a “day maker” of a request and someone that he “had no contact with in a while, years and years.”
Former WWE star Melina has also recently discussed the possibility of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Having recently returned to the company, Trish Stratus has previously discussed who she feels should be inducted.
