WWE Hall Of Famer Coming Out Of Retirement Following Fastlane Attack?

Nia Jax and Tamina are the bullies of the WWE women’s division. If only they were as good at winning as the are at bullying, they’d be tag champions by now.

Following their loss to Bayley and Sasha Banks at last night’s Fastlane PPV, the Samoan duo turned their attention on WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, who was as usual providing bad commentary on the women’s match.

Phoenix lashed out at Tamina after an intense stare-down, but the ‘Glamazon’ was quickly floored by Nia Jax and attacked in the ring. This brought out Beth’s best buddy Natalya, but once again the Samoans proved too strong.

So, what was the whole point of all this? Well, could it be a way of setting up Beth Phoenix for one last match? Since retiring in 2012, Phoenix has only wrestled one match for WWE as part of the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble in 2018.

As is being speculated by Sportskeeda, this attack sets up a number of intriguing angles and possibly future matches.

The ‘Divas of Destruction’ as Beth and Natalya were known during their days as a tag team were a successful duo in the late 2000s, and certainly a team WWE would want to see back in their ranks.

Nia and Tamina are used to being the biggest kids on the block, but someone with the physical stature of Beth Phoenix could make for a very watchable feud.

WWE loves bringing out as many big guns as possible for WrestleMania, and with women already set to main event the show, it’s likely that we could get a more female-focused event this year.
