WWE Hall Of Famer Urges Fans To Start Watching NXT WWE

WWE NXT has moved away from its NXT 2.0, unveiling a new look and a new commentary team, one of whom has made a request of wrestling fans.

On his The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said of the brand that fans should:

“Watch the show, man, become a part of it, because it’s special.”

Looking at the importance of NXT and its status as the ‘developmental brand’ of WWE, the two-time Hall of Famer said:

“These are the guys we’re getting a chance to see before they make it to the SmackDown roster, before they make it to Raw. And me, personally, I’d like to see some of those guys stick around in NXT for a while just because they really make the brand stand out.”

Booker wasn’t always enthused about the idea of working on NXT, however, but his opinion evolved when he finally got there, explaining:

“It feels so much like Reality of Wrestling. You have a pep talk after the show. The guys are wanting more, and they’ll stay there all night if they could. I love being at NXT. I can honestly say I didn’t think I’d feel the way I do right now about NXT, I just didn’t.”

Reality of Wrestling is Booker T (and Sharmell’s) independent wrestling company that he established in 2005 (initially as Pro Wrestling Alliance).
