A major update has emerged on the next stars to join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Already announced for this year’s Hall of Fame class are Triple H and Michelle McCool, who will both be honored during a ceremony ahead of WrestleMania 41 in April.
WrestleVotes now reports that Earthquake and Typhoon of the Natural Disasters are set to join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
WrestleVotes took to Twitter to note:
“As first reported on today’s WrestleVotes Radio, sources indicate a legendary tag team is set to join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025—The Natural Disasters, Earthquake & Typhoon.
A long-overdue, well deserved honor for the former WWF Tag Team Champions.”
The Natural Disasters wrestled together as a team in WWE from 1991 to 1993, notably holding the WWE (WWF) Tag Team Championship during this time.
Earthquake’s entire pro-wrestling career started in May 1987, following a run in sumo wrestling. He stepped away from wrestling in 2004 before passing away in June 2006 due to bladder cancer, two weeks before his 43rd birthday.
Typhoon made his in-ring debut in 1984, going on to join WWE in 1989. He initially retired in 2001, before returning to the ring for a short stint in 2009.
