WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Kevin Dunn ‘Is Not Going Anywhere’

WWE Hall Of Famer Believes Kevin Dunn ‘Is Not Going Anywhere’ WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer believes that Kevin Dunn “is not going anywhere”.

In July, Vince McMahon retired as CEO and Chairman of WWE. Following this, Triple H assumed all creative duties for the main roster, while Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named co-CEOs.

On the AEW side, they recently hired Michael Mansury to help with the production, who previously worked as WWE’s Vice President of Global Television Production.

Many within WWE believed that Mansury would be next in line for Kevin Dunn’s position in the company.

However, a long-time wrestling legend believes that Dunn will be sticking around for a while.

Speaking on the latest To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair was asked when he learned of All Elite Wrestling hiring Mansury. He answered:

“I didn’t know that, wow.”

“That’s a big hire for Tony (Khan). I’m glad to hear that. Here’s what happened with Mike, he was going to replace Kevin Dunn, but people don’t understand, Kevin ain’t going anywhere.”

“He’s got it as bad as I’ve had it. I just spoke with him yesterday, why would he walk away from something he enjoys?”

Flair continued on to state that it saddened him to see Vince McMahon having to stop doing what he was doing, saying:

“That’s what saddens me about Vince (McMahon). Not that Hunter [Triple H] and Stephanie (McMahon) were taking over, but when you do something like that for so long, like myself, it’s hard to walk away from.”

“Mike is great, I’m happy for him, that’s a big deal for Tony. Congratulations.”
