Bret Hart invited Hangman Page, the man who won the Casino Battle Royale in the pre-show to the ring. Page will challenge the winner of the Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega main event match at a later date for the new championship.
Page was confronted by MJF after he eliminated the cocky heel in the pre-show bout to win the match. After talking some trash, MJF was confronted by Jimmy Havoc and Jungle Boy, before being attacked by the trio.
