Former WWE Champion and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has been pretty open about his battles with addiction and substance abuse while wrestling. However, he is said to be doing a lot better now.
Taking to Twitter yesterday, the WWE Hall of Famer shared a rather important milestone with his followers, thanking them for their support:
“Celebrating 7 years of sobriety today. To all of you who supported me and stood by me, through good and bad, I want to thank you for not giving up on me. Salute! (With a glass of milk in my You Suck cup). #sobriety #addictionsucks #yourenotalone #recovery”
Angle recently appeared in an interview with Denise Salcedo, where he spoke about wanting a run with the WWE Championship and wanting to face John Cena in his final match. You can read more about those stories by clicking the hyperlinks.
