By the time WWE SummerSlam 2024 reached the main event, a WWE Hall of Famer returned to help out Cody Rhodes.
Ahead of his match in the main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship, Cody Rhodes ran into an old pal backstage.
Arn Anderson made an appearance, not only giving Rhodes some words of encouragement but also teased that there were “other boys” that were on their way to help.
The match is ‘Bloodline Rules’ seemingly meaning, there are no rules.
That means the idea is that Solo Sikoa has the advantage because his fellow Bloodline members will be able to interfere at will.
However, with Anderson teasing that backup is arriving for Cody Rhodes as well, that might not be the case.
Rhodes was also accompanied for his walk backstage by his dog Pharaoh, who is on his his final trip on the road this weekend.
