A WWE Hall of Famer has detailed their current deal with the company.
On the August 29 edition of WWE Raw, Kurt Angle made his return to the company in his hometown of Pittsburgh.
Following this appearance, it looks as if the Olympic Gold Medalist will stay connected with WWE moving forward.
In a new interview with Bubba the Love Sponge on The Bubba Army, Angle explained the details of his current WWE deal.
He said:
“I signed a nostalgia contract, which is basically just a merchandise contract. So they pay me per appearance, and they gave me a really nice deal with the merchandise contract. They gave me a bunch of money upfront, which is really cool. But I’m not obligated to just the WWE, so I can go do my own appearances and stuff.”
Angle continued on to reveal that he is also helping backstage with the company, saying:
“They’ve been really good to me thus far. I’ve been doing a lot of production stuff with them — possible TV shows. I’m doing behind the scenes stuff, which is kind of cool.”
In addition to that, WWE is currently working on a documentary on Angle as well.
As previously reported, Kurt Angle has also teased at a possible non-wrestling appearance for WrestleMania 39 next year in Los Angeles.
