Kurt Angle Believes That HOOK Is Going To Be A Big Star

HOOK has become a revelation since his in-ring debut in late 2021, with him most recently picking up a win over Serpentico on last week’s AEW Rampage (January 21).

In case you were not aware, HOOK’s father was also a wrestler, who competed as ‘Taz’ in ECW, and made his WWE debut back at the Royal Rumble in 2000 against Kurt Angle.

Angle recently spoke about the match on his Kurt Angle Show podcast, when he discussed Taz’s son’s rise in All Elite Wrestling. Kurt had high praise for HOOK, claiming that he ‘is going to be a big star’.

He said:

“He’s making a huge impact in wrestling right now. This kid is awesome. He’s going to be a big star, he definitely is. I hear he’s got one of the top selling t-shirts for Pro Wrestling Tees which is unbelievable. Kid only had four matches in AEW and he’s already a sensation.”
