It has been reported over the past week or so that Dana Warrior and Bruce Prichard have both been signed to WWE’s creative team. These acquisitions supported the claim WWE was planning on making some ”major changes”, with Prichard said to be hired as Vince’s ” right-hand man”
The changes have not stopped there as per PW Insider, WWE have also added former Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett to the creative team. The former Intercontinental Champion made a cameo in the 2019 Royal Rumble where he started a two-week feud with Elias.
Jarrett has experience working on a creative team before, having previously worked for TNA. WWE will hope that he can use his invaluable experience to help improve their current product. It should also be noted that WWE has been using Paul Heyman in a backstage role, with the mastermind behind ECW focusing his efforts mainly on former UFC stars Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. It is clear they are trying to add experience to their writing staff.
It will be interesting to see how WWE’s new acquisitions change the current product. However, with everything still very much having to go through Vince McMahon, it is unlikely that we will see any drastic changes.
