Tonight, AEW hyped a special edition episode of Dynamite called Winter is Coming. Apparently, winter was a code name for former WWE/WCW legend.
That former WWE/WCW legend was Sting. That’s right The Icon Sting has debuted on AEW: Dynamite.
It’s not 100% clear what exactly what Sting’s role will be. However, it was announced Sting has signed a multi-year deal with AEW.
Sting came down to the ring to make the save as Cody Rhodes was about to get clobbered with the FTW championship. Powerhouse Hobbs, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and Taz were about to take out Cody.

The foursome took out Arn Anderson, Cody, Darby, and Dustin Rhodes. The lights went out.
When they came back on, it was the legend himself, Sting. The fans in the arena, the wrestlers around ringside, and I all marked out.
It was announced that Sting will speak and declare his intentions next week. It appears he may be aligning himself with Darby Allin.
Wow. Just Wow.
