JBL Makes Surprise Appearance On SmackDown

JBL made a surprise appearance on last night’s edition of SmackDown, find out what he was doing and who he sped off with in a limo!

In a backstage segment on last night’s edition of SmackDown (September 3) a blast from the past popped up and just might be offering a hand to a current star.

A dejected Happy Corbin was in the arena parking lot after losing a match against Shinsuke Nakamura when he was approached by a unique vehicle.

When a white stretch limousine (BMW no less!) with signature bull horns on the hood, pulled up to Corbin and offered him a ride, the unique voice seemed clear.

Rolling down the window to ask Corbin, “What happened to you?” Corbin smiled and got into the limo before it sped off.

With commentary questioning whether or not they had just seen Happy Corbin elope with John Bradshaw Layfield, JBL wasn’t actually shown on screen.

JBL was previously reportedly set to appear on the pre-taped edition of SmackDown however no further details as to his future on-screen involvement with Corbin have been made known.

Except that Corbin and Cameron Grimes would be a really fascinating money motivated main roster duo under the evil tutelage of WWE legend and tycoon JBL, wouldn’t they? 🤔
