WWE Hall Of Famer Calls Out AEW’s Mercedes Mone

A WWE Hall of Famer has taken to social media to answer a challenge issued by Mercedes Mone during the recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

With The CEO now in possession of nine championship belts, the TBS Champion was at her confident finest as she set her sights on a tenth championship reign.

Wanting to smash Ultimo Dragon’s ten title record, Mone would say:

“To any woman out there with a title, I’m coming for you, and you’re going to love the taste of Mone.”

With footage of the challenge from Dynamite being shared on the official AEW and Mercedes Mone Instagram accounts, former WWF Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze responded by commenting:

“I AM RIGHT HERE!!! Come taste a legend😂”

Known as Madusa away from WWE, the former Alundra Blayze is a three-time WWF Women’s Champion and famously dumped the title into a bin during her WCW debut.

Fans would respond to the suggestion of Blayze vs Mone with enthusiasm, although some questioned whether she had a title to barter.

Blayze left WWE with the WWF Women’s Championship in December 1995, with the title being vacated until Jacqueline defeated Sable in September 1998.

Still in possession of the physical championship at the time of her WWE Hall of Fame induction, she would comment that the title was “back home where it belongs”.

Alundra Blayze was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2015.
