WWE Hall Of Famer Praises Oba Femi Return Promo

WWE Hall Of Famer Praises Oba Femi Return Promo WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has praised Oba Femi’s return promo on last night’s November 18 episode of NXT at The Theater in Madison Square Garden.

After being absent from NXT since No Mercy in late September, Oba Femi made his return at the very end of last week’s NXT after Ricky Saints had retained the NXT Championship against Trick Williams.

Last night, Femi and Saints had an in-ring confrontation as Femi addressed his return and set up a No Mercy championship rematch for Deadline on December 6.

On Busted Open after NXT last night, WWE Hall of Fame Bully Ray/Bubba Ray Dudley had high praise for Femi’s promo. He said:

“You heard the people in The Theater at MSG in the background. And what was even more shocking than the pop – the very audible pop – was everybody in The Theater stood on their feet when Oba Femi hit those last couple of lines on his promo.

“They felt it. Oba’s words resonated with that crowd. When you get people to stand on their feet like that, they’re basically saying, ‘F**k yeah. We’re with you Oba.’

“And did you see the look in Ricky’s eyes? As talented as Ricky Saints is on the stick, Ricky knew that in that moment, Oba got the better of him. Tonight, Oba won that microphone battle. Great job Oba Femi.

“Oba’s gonna be a big deal in WWE one day.”

Last night’s NXT played host to a big title change in the main event as Jacy Jayne won back the NXT Women’s Championship from Tatum Paxley after Paxley was attacked by Izzi Dame.
