It was revealed on Raw last night that WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be making his return in the Royal Rumble match. Edge appeared in a promo segment for the first time since his post-Backlash interview.
He talked about how you can take nothing for granted and talked about how he lost the World Heavyweight title, his career and his dream ten years ago. His mom would tell him “just go do it” when he said he wanted to be a wrestler. Now, he said he knows she would tell him the same thing about returning again.
Edge has been out of action since suffering a torn tricep at Backlash. His match with Randy Orton was dubbed the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever with Edge’s injury occurring during reshoots for the match.
Edge promised to win the Royal Rumble and win back what he never lost back in 2011.
The WWE Hall of Famer made his return from retirement at the Royal Rumble last year. It was his first match in nine years and now, he will make his return one more time.
