WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals Who Made Him Feel Welcome In WWE

The WCW guys were not entirely welcomed when WWE bought WCW. One of the biggest stars of the invasion was WCW Champion Booker T. Now, the Hall of Famer has revealed that The Undertaker made him feel welcome.

Booker revealed this on his Hall of Fame podcast when he said Undertaker told him to come dress in the TV locker room. Here is the full quote, courtesy of Fightful:

“Literally, the guy who gave me the rub. I was dressing in the locker room with the boys — I always say, you’ve got to make it in the locker room before you have a chance to make it in the ring — I ran across Undertaker in the hallway and he said, ‘why don’t you come over here and dress with us.’ ‘In the TV locker room?’ From that day on, I dressed in the TV locker room, which is the upper-echelon guys.

When I got invited into the TV locker room by the Undertaker, I was like, ‘I’m moving up.’ I remember my first WrestleMania, I’m getting ready to go through the curtain, and Undertaker is sitting at Gorilla with Vince [McMahon]. He says, ‘Hey man, just take it all in.’ He didn’t have to do that. I went out and I was so glad he told me that because I had tunnel vision.”

Booker T made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania X8 against Edge. The famously weird storyline was focused on a fictitious Japanese shampoo commercial. An odd way to utilize one of WCW biggest stars for sure.
