A WWE Hall of Famer has said he’d do one more match in the company if he was asked to, even though he hasn’t for a number of years.
Booker T’s last WWE match came in 2012, after he’d been involved in a program with Cody Rhodes from late-2011. The last match he had on broadcast was the 12-man tag team match at WrestleMania 28.
Speaking on the After The Bell podcast, Booker said that he’d definitely lace up the boots again if he was asked. He said:
“Look, I’m no conspiracy theorist or anything like that. Let’s just get that straight but I know how hard it is, man. I know how hard it is to walk away from the business and you know how hard it is, and to walk away from it and say, ‘Man, that’s the last time I’m gonna do this.’ You know, I’ve been out of a WWE ring for quite some time now, but rest assured, if they called me and said, ‘Hey Book! One match!’ You know what I mean? I’d be like, ‘Baby, can you help me find my boots?'”
