WWE Hall Of Famer Says Kofi Kingston Going To WrestleMania Is A ”Joke”

Kofi Kingston’s New Day teammates Big E and Xavier Woods ensured their ”brother” would face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 after defeating five other teams in a tag team gauntlet match last night on Smackdown Live.

Fans WWE were elated, Kofi would finally get the shot he deserved after 11 years of hard work. However, WWE Hall of Famer ”Superstar” Billy Graham posted on Facebook asking ”Is the WWE serious???” and saying that Kofi going to WrestleMania was ”a joke”.

Graham would make some pretty outlandish claims, stating that this idea had to have come from WWE’s newest member of the creative team, Dana Warrior. Graham claimed that Warrior had rapidly climbed to a high position backstage within WWE, and was sitting in on meetings involving just Vince McMahon, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

He then questioned if ”anyone out there really excited to see these 2 lightweights wrestle for the WWE Championship”. Graham would then go on to say ”Oh, one more thing. I would love to see Kofi at 145 pounds put his newly won WWE belt on the line against Brock Lesner.”

Graham is clearly adopting an old-fashioned mentality towards the wrestling business, believing bigger guys should hold the championships and main event the shows over smaller, more agile workers. Well, whilst Billy might not be, we are extremely excited to see Kofi Kingston finally get his shot at the WWE Championship after 11 years against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35 on April 7th inside MetLife stadium.

Oh, and by the way, Kofi Kingston is 211lbs, not 145lbs… Get it right, Billy.
