Roman Reigns has been having perhaps the best run of his career since returning at SummerSlam. Fans aren’t the only ones to praise him either. WWE Hall of Famers have also taken notice.
JBL appeared at Survivor Series and got a good look at Reigns’ new attitude. In a recent interview on WWE’s The Bump, JBL said Reigns was the most impressive thing he has seen in the last 20 years. High praise. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestling Inc.:
“I think the thing that has impressed me by far, and anything I’ve seen in the last 20 years, is Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns, to me, is the most compelling character I’ve seen on television in 20 years. It’s unbelievable how good of a character he is. The way it’s just transitioned and becoming this head of the table – I’m a huge fan.”
Roman Reigns is currently the WWE Universal Champion, having defeated Bray Wyatt at Payback. He has since been involved in a rivalry with Jey Uso which has also drawn significant praise. He most recently defeated Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series in a champion vs. champion match.
