A WWE Hall of Famer has revealed that there are plans for him to visit The Gold Brand and feud with NXT competitor Cameron Grimes.
In a recent NXT segment, Cameron Grimes paid tribute to “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. According to the WWE legend, there are plans for him to work with the NXT competitor.
In an interview with Booker T, DiBiase discussed the Performance Center pitch. Teasing a possible feud with “their new money guy”, DiBiase confirmed that he plans to work with the NXT Breakout Tournament finalist.
Here is the full quote:
“As a matter of fact, I’m supposed to go down to the developmental center pretty soon. I think I’m gonna do something with that new guy, their new money guy, Cameron Grimes or something. I’m gonna have a little feud with him.”
DiBiase made a special appearance on Raw in 2019, “buying” the 24/7 Championship from Alundra Blayze. He lost the title to Drake Maverick on the same night.
Grimes competed at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver in the Gauntlet Eliminator match. Grimes helped to eliminate LA Knight before being eliminated by Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.
