WWE Hall Of Famers Praise Wardlow After AEW Dynamite AEW

Two WWE Hall of Famers have praised Wardlow following Wednesday’s (June 8) episode of AEW Dynamite.

Wardlow’s most recent rivalry with MJF established him as a singles star, with the rising talent squashing his former ally in a matter of minutes at Double or Nothing.

The powerhouse has been featured in prominent promo segments on AEW TV since then, with Wardlow telling Tony Schiavone that he wants Scorpio Sky’s TNT Championship on this week’s Dynamite.

Sean Waltman (X-Pac) believes that Wardlow has massive potential, taking to Twitter to note:

“For not having much mic time thus far, Wardlow shows promise on the stick.”

Agreeing with Waltman, Brian James (Road Dogg) tweeted:

“Yea, and he’s a stud. Ton of up side”

Also on this week’s show, Jon Moxley defeated Casino Battle Royale winner Kyle O’Reilly to advance to the AEW Interim World Title bout at Forbidden Door.

Hiroshi Tanahashi will do battle with Hirooki Goto at NJPW Dominion on Sunday to determine Moxley’s opponent for the AEW x NJPW crossover event.

Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page also issued a challenge to IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada for the June 26 show.
