While all the headlines will focus on Cody Rhodes and his legitimate torn pectoral muscle, WWE shot an injury angle with another of their stars on last night’s Hell In A Cell show.
Happy Corbin took on Madcap Moss in a No Holds Barred match on the show, which Madcap won when he pillmanised Corbin with the steel steps, in a similar fashion to what Corbin did to moss with the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy last month.
Corbin was stretchered out of the arena following the spot, and WWE.com has now posted a medical update on Corbin, which reads as followed:
“Following the incredible beatdown he received at the hands of Madcap Moss in a brutal No Holds Barred Match during the WWE Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event, Happy Corbin was evaluated at a local medical facility on Sunday night and was released with a minor neck contusion.”
