WWE are said to be ‘very happy’ with the performances and development of one of their stars following matches outside the company.
WWE has been partnering up with other wrestling promotions in recent months, most notably TNA, Marigold and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
WWE sent two current NXT stars, Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights, over to Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s annual N-1 Victory tournament.
During his time in the company, fans have taken notice of Heights and his performances in the tournament, and that sentiment is shared with those within the company.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), NXT brass are ‘very happy’ with the performances and development of Heights during his run in NOAH for the N-1.
Heights is a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew in NXT alongside Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and new member Wren Sinclair.
Dempsey recently regained the NXT Heritage Cup Championship from Tony D’Angelo on last week’s episode of NXT television.
Damon Kemp was informed by WWE that his contract wasn’t being renewed just before Heights joined the faction.
