A future match for The Hardy Boyz in WWE has potentially been revealed, with Matt Hardy calling for a bout against a top tag-team.
Matt and Jeff Hardy recently made their WWE return as part of the WWE-TNA Wrestling crossover partnership.
Speaking on his Extreme Life podcast, Matt Hardy hinted that he and Jeff could target the New Day next.
Calling for a WWE World Tag Team Championship match, Matt Hardy said:
“Time is a flat circle. We showed up in WWE and The New Day was there. Don’t get it twisted. We could definitely show up in WWE again with New Day there, and we might even pull those tag titles off them.
“We’ve never done anything with The New Day in that capacity. To actually come in and work with New Day, to do a program with The New Day, is something I think that is definitely feasible in the near future. That’s something that would be exciting for me.”
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston won the World Tag Team Title from the War Raiders at WrestleMania 41.
Matt Hardy recently shared his honest thoughts on the WWE Tag Team Championship TLC match which recently took place on SmackDown, which you can read more about right here.
