Real Reason The Hardys Aren’t Appearing On Show After WWE Acquisition TNA Wrestling

Matt Hardy has revealed the real reason that The Hardys won’t be appearing on an upcoming AAA show after WWE acquired the company.

A number of TNA Wrestling stars have been announced for AAA TripleMania Regia on June 15, the first to be produced since WWE acquired AAA.

Despite reports that Matt & Jeff could be appearing on the show, it turns out that this isn’t the case.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the eponymous TNA Wrestling star has now revealed why they won’t be appearing, saying:

“I know we were asked about that and, full transparency, we’re booked already those weekends.

“We were asked about doing them, but we weren’t able to obviously, but maybe sometime down the road we will.

“I’d never say never, too. I’m not going to lie, I would love for Matt and Jeff Hardy to pick up the AAA Tag Team Title.”

Currently scheduled to appear on the AAA show from the WWE side of things are Angel and Berto of Los Garza.

With the former Alberto Del Rio currently the AAA Mega Champion, an update emerged on the chances of seeing him back in WWE.

Recently, it was reported that WWE is planning to run a series of live events in Mexico, although a date and location is yet to be confirmed.
