It was reported earlier today that WWE will have NXT stars in the audience for tonight’s Raw. Now, we know WWE is taking things one step further.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has now followed up on his report by saying they will also have plexiglass around their barricades for tonight’s show. Plexiglass is what is used on the boards of hockey games to keep fans back from the ice.

This will undoubtedly be a strange visual. WWE has never used any kind of glass barricades for their audience before so this will be an entirely new setup.
One has to question the purpose of this. Unless the NXT stars are kept completely separate from all other staff and wrestlers for the entire time they are there, having glass between them and the ring likely won’t make much of a difference.
It was mentioned in the original report that the NXT talent was screened by a medical professional at an off-site location. They were then transferred to the venue by bus.
This will undoubtedly be a must-see show just to see all the changes being made.
