WWE opened Raw with a graphic in tribute of Jon Huber, also known as Brodie Lee or Luke Harper, but there’s reportedly more in the works too.
Many, including former WWE star Brian Myers (Curt Hawkins), had been critical that a graphic is all WWE did last night, but PWInsider has confirmed more tributes have been taped.
Fightful reports that a video package for Lee has been prepared, but it’s unknown when or where it’ll air. It’s good to know that WWE does have more plans to honour and tribute a man so many thought fondly of.
There were also some subtle tributes from individuals too. Lead announcer Tom Phillips opened the show with “It’s Monday, you know what that means…” and Drew McIntyre used the same phrase, made famous by Lee on Twitter, in his opening promo too.
Xavier Woods of New Day wore a Brodie Lee armband and used a discuss clothesline, Lee’s finisher, during his match too, as well as an emotional speech on Raw Talk.
We continue to send our thoughts and condolences to Huber’s family, friends, and everyone affected by his passing.
