A WWE star has spoken out to address criticism of his recent actions that some fans are pointing to as evidence that he is turning heel.
With several instances of some dubious behavior of late from the New Day’s Xavier Woods, speculation has continued that Woods is creeping closer to the heel side.
However in a new video posted to Twitter, Woods not only shows off some impressive roller blading skills, he also addresses his critics.
Going through each instance where people have questioned his motives, Woods shared his perspective on recent events boiling down to essentially – don’t blame him!
You can see more from the video below but Xavier Woods makes a compelling argument for why he is simply choosing to put New Day first.
Xavier Woods said in closing:
“I’m doing what I can keep myself, my tag team partner – my best friend, safe and get us to advance to the top of the mountain.
“Why is it such a bad thing to have a plan that protects us?”
The video would go on to receive a response from fellow WWE star Bayley who shared that Woods was one of her favorite pro-wrestlers to which he replied with high praise as well.
