WWE has hired Bruce Prichard to join the backstage Creative team, reports PWInsider.
The report notes that he will start work backstage at Raw this coming Monday, and his position will be “as important as possible” and will be working alongside Vince McMahon on all things creative.
Prichard may be best known for playing the Brother Love character on TV but has been a backstage producer and worked on Creative for WWE before.
He also worked as Impact Wrestling’s (then TNA) Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations after he left WWE in December of 2008.
Prichard might be remembered most recently for his Something to Wrestle With podcast that he hosted with Conrad Thompson and was brought to the WWE Network. This news comes a day after it was revealed Producer Arn Anderson had been released by WWE, and shortly after the news of Jeff Jarrett, Shawn Daivari, Shane Helms, Chris Parks (Abyss) and Sonjay Dutt being hired as Producers.
