WWE is hiring for a new role to manage conflict within talent.
All Elite Wrestling has faced a lot of drama and turmoil as of late due to backstage issues among talent.
From the All Out backstage fight to the recent issues and altercation between Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara, AEW has needed someone who can handle these issues behind the scenes.
It seems as if WWE is looking to avoid similar things within their company.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE has a listing for an Operations Manager to manage conflict within talent.
The description of the position says that this person will work with the travel department and the creative team to ensure the announcers know the key points they need to get across for storylines, negotiate with announcers, and recruit new and help develop new ideas for announcers.
Meltzer also pointed out one interesting element of the description: the Operations Manager “will have direct contact with talent and must be able to manage conflicting egos, personalities, and concerns.”
As previously noted, WWE has seen plenty of changes in employment since Vince McMahon announced his retirement in July.
Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named co-CEOs, while Triple H took over the role of Head of Creative.
