A WWE Hall of Famer has now confirmed he’s signed a legend’s contract with the company, and has teased future announcements.
WWE has signing a number of legends to legend’s contracts in recent months, including Diamond Dallas Page, Jacqueline and Armando Estrada.
WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura had previously spoken about being in negotiations with the company over a potential legends contract, and Jesse has now confirmed he has signed a new deal with the company.
Taking to his Substack, Jesse noted that ‘hell froze over’, and that he has returned to WWE as a legend, teasing that there was bigger and better stuff still waiting to happen.
He wrote:
Yes, Gov. Jesse Ventura has officially returned to the WWE! Fresh off signing a new Legends contract, “The Body” shares his thoughts on why he has returned to the WWE after a two decade absence. Plus, Jesse drops a few hints at just what the WWE and The Body have in store for the millions of wrestling fans around the world…
Jesse made his return to WWE programming back on the July 29 episode of Raw in Minnesota.
He was shown on-screen and was greeted by Triple H when arriving.
