WWE Hall Of Famer Praises Liv Morgan Survivor Series Return Angle WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has heaped praise on Liv Morgan’s return angle at Survivor Series, claiming her look was better than John Cena’s.

After missing 5 months of action with a shoulder injury suffered in June, Liv Morgan made her return to WWE television at Survivor Series, where she interfered during Dominik Mysterio and John Cena’s Intercontinental Championship match.

Liv initially slapped Dominik after entering the ring, before she jumped into the arms of John Cena, before Liv gave a blank expression to the camera akin to the look Cena himself gave during his heel turn at Elimination Chamber, before low blowing Cena, allowing Dominik to regain the title.

Speaking about the angle on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray heaped praise on the match and angle, noting that he believes Liv’s expression was better than Cena’s was at the Chamber.

He said:

“Great job by Liv and Dom, pulling the wool over people’s eyes. And then Liv Morgan, on John Cena’s last PLE, kicks John Cena right in the balls, which allows Dominik Mysterio to go over.

“I loved the ISO shot. I loved Liv jumping into John’s arms. I loved the camera close up on Liv’s eyes and how they popped out of her head like the evil she-devil that she is. Little manipulative you-know-what.

“I think the Liv look was far superior to the John look (at Elimination Chamber). The John was more deadpan.

“John’s look was less is more, Liv’s look was so over the top. She looked possessed, and I loved it. Everything that went on in Dom and John worked.”
