
A WWE Hall of Famer has heaped praise on a new AEW signing after they were officially announced as All Elite last night.
Former NJPW star Kevin Knight was in action on last night’s episode of AEW Collision, where he faced off against Jay White.
After the match, Tony Khan took to Twitter, where he officially announced that Knight had signed with the company, and was ‘All Elite’.
He said:
Congratulations, it’s official!
After a fantastic performance at Saturday Night #AEWCollision tonight, @Jet2Flyy Kevin Knight is All Elite!
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry responded to Tony’s tweet, where he heaped praise on Knight, telling Khan:
Congratulations Tony you got a good one!
It was reported following Knight’s signing that WWE had interest in bringing him in, with them offering him a tryout before he ultimately chose to join AEW.
Mark Henry left AEW last year, and has since made numerous appearances on WWE television, recently revealing that he was under a legends contract with the company.
