Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura has confirmed his next WWE TV appearance following his recent return at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On Saturday, December 14 Saturday Night’s Main Event made its long-awaited return to NBC after a 16-year absence.
The show featured five matches, four of which were for WWE gold and caught to recapture the “old school” feeling of Saturday Night’s Main Event’s heyday back in the 1980s.
While the presentation and outfits represented this nostalgic focus, we also got to hear the voice perhaps most synonymous with the show make his WWE return also – that being Jesse Ventura.
The WWE Hall of Famer donned his signature boas and took up a role as the show’s presenter alongside Joe Tessitore, before later sitting at the commentary desk for the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens.
With WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event being brought back in just over a month’s time in San Antonio, TX on January 25, Ventura has confirmed that he will indeed be back once again on WWE TV for that show.
In a video posted to Twitter, WWE highlighted some of Ventura “calling it like it is” during the Rhodes vs. Owens match, something that lead to this response from the former Governor of Minnesota:
…and I’ll continue calling it as I see it on the next Saturday Night’s Main Event! Live from San Antonio, TX on January 25th 2025
We will provide updates on any more legend appearances confirmed to attend next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event as/when they are announced.
