WWE Hall Of Famer Hails ‘Tremendous’ Cody Rhodes

WWE Hall Of Famer Hails ‘Tremendous’ Cody Rhodes WWE

Following his AEW departure, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson has hailed “tremendous” Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event.

After his victory, Rhodes had an in-ring celebration where his family and friends joined him in the ring alongside names like WWE CCO Triple H and Bruce Prichard.

One important figure in Cody’s career who was not able to be part of this celebration was Arn Anderson. The WWE Hall of Famer served as Rhodes’ coach during his run in AEW.

On the most recent edition of The ARN Show, Arn Anderson praised Cody Rhodes as being the all-around professional and perfectly cast for the role of top babyface he’s in. He said:

“I did not see it, but I saw clips of the aftermath. The fact that he was appreciated to that degree by his company, I mean, that’s a guy that if you own a wrestling company, why would you want him a predominant player with your company?”

“He looks the part. He’s a gentleman. He’s a professional. He’s a tremendous talent. He loves the business. He has a lineage of second to none, with his brother and his father.”

“I mean, all these positive things, and he’s a guy that if you need 40 minutes tonight, no question. ‘Cody, you got 40 minutes in you?’ Not a problem.”

“Everybody can’t do that and continue to keep the level that that you need to for a 40-45-minute match.”

“They know what they got and they’re glad to get him back, and you can tell that he’s an all-around pro.”

Cody Rhodes has teased that he might be looking for “the classic pro wrestling manager,” which you can read here.

Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship on Sunday, June 15 at WWE Clash At The Castle. His challenger hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.

Arn Anderson has confirmed that he was leaving AEW after five years with the promotion, which you can read at this link.
