WWE Hall Of Famer Explains How Women’s Division Can Be Better WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has explained how she thinks the company can make their women’s division better.

Over the past decade, the WWE women’s division has improved by leaps and bounds by showcasing the in-ring ability of their female talent and also involving them in high profile storylines. Despite the improvements and evolution, some fans would argue that the women’s division still has some flaws.

Appearing on a panel at Comic-Con Northern Ireland, Trish Stratus was asked what she would do differently to make the women’s division better. She answered:

“I think I would like to have a little bit more focus on characters. I feel like for sure now, there’s way more opportunities for women, obviously.”

“We see them main eventing all the time, we see them in high-profile matches, but I think what we had back in the day was a lot of more character stuff, and you got to know these characters, the fans could really resonate with the character a little bit more.”

“Now, they’re just having these great matches, but there’s no backstory as much as there was back in the day, so I think character development would be one thing I’d like to focus on.”

Elsewhere in the panel, Trish Stratus addressed a potential dream match with Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton, which you can read here.
